Emily's Mackenzie Dress

The Mackenzie Dress by #GenniewrenDesigns has made its way onto this blog a number of times now.  And once again here it is.

I love how easy it goes together, from cutting out the pattern to done in a couple hours.  The last two times I've done some machine embroidery on the bodice.  This time I let the print and the trim do all the decorative work as it was squeezed into a busy schedule to test it.

The fabric was a white fat quarter with pink and teal butterflies.   And instead of piping, I used a teal lace.  This time I chose the a-line skirt view.

Watch BecomingSewDolledUp.blogspot.com and Flickr for pictures of this look.
