Ellie also looked through all the #AmericanGirlDolls patterns from #Simplicity. She decided on #8280.
Instead of doing an overlay on the bodice and sleeves, Ellie decided to just use the snowflake fabric. And for the overskirt, she chose just a single layer of chiffon. This way the snowflake fabric of the underskirt would show through.
The hem of the overskirt was edged in silver ribbon.
Ellie then accessorized with black shoes a silver ribbon headband and a red bracelet.
