Rosie Romper

And its another #WellieWishers pattern.....

The #GennieWrenDesigns Rosie Romper pattern was a fun test.

For the fabric two hot pink polka dot prints were paired.  The tested look is view B on the pattern with the sweetheart neckline instead of the piping.  It was a tough decision as view C was a really cute short version and perhaps I'll make view C next.

The leg ruffles and the back bow were made in a bigger polka dot print than the main fabric of the romper.

Purple Dreams

The #PixieFaire free pattern a couple weeks ago was the Liberty Jane drawstring shorts.  Kaylie really liked the pattern and her birthday is just around the corner given how fast time is flying.  So Ellie and I decided to surprise her.

Ellie picked out a purple watercolor print for the fabric and purple ribbon for the drawstring instead of the matching fabric.  Then using leftover fabric we created a matching camisole with ribbon straps.
